Performing Group

Contemporary Company is a performing based group lead by Owner & Artistic Director, Michelle Urban.  The group contains a broad range of movers which allows for greater creative diversity.  They train heavily using Bartenieff Fundamentals theory which focuses on movement integration and harmony.  Their curriculum includes,  partnering, improvisation, and release technique which has enabled them to establish a unique cohesiveness when on stage.  Company has had the honor to be invited to perform at some of our city's larger events as well as partake at our local Community College's performances.  Mrs. Urban's main focus is to provide quality training that will enable her dancers to purse dance in higher education.  This year 3 of our company members will have the privelage to attend Alonzo King LINES Ballet Summer Intensive, 2 as Resident Assitants and 1 attending the Advanced Program.
